We come out to your place, walk the ground with you, and see what we are working with: where the water sits, how the slope runs, what the access is like for the machine. We ask what you are building and when you need it done, and we tell you what we can do and what will cost more. The quote is plain, and we go over it on site so you know what we will dig and what we will leave.
The work itself comes down to reading the ground and cutting it true. For footers, that means getting down to solid bearing and squaring the corners so the forms set right. For ponds, it means digging the core deep and wide enough to hold, and dressing the banks so they shed water instead of slumping. We use the right machine for the cut, and we check the grade as we go. Work that lasts is work where the water moves where you want it and the ground settles even.
